Preparations are going very well. I have been directing Scott’s programs as if preparing each fight for a world title, with great emphasis on Scott’s 100% commitment of total dedication and determination to work to the strictest of regimes.
Knowingly, Scott’s ambition was to win the covet Lonsdale belt outright in which Scott successfully achieved back in September 2005 against Wayne Elcock. Which was a very good fight at domestic level, a twelve round affair, and the first time Scott having to go the distance.
Scott’s confidence is growing marginally and that Scott has grown considerably in stature and maturity in this game. In my opinion he is transforming into a complete professional, who combines skill and power in equal measures and one who possesses a good boxing brain with the will to succeed.
Now is the time for Scott to emulate to the next stage of his career, every fighters dream, the world stage, the reality is it’s a long road to the top.
Nigel Christian, Chris and Jamie Sanigar and myself, the back room staff of team Dann working alongside Scott. This February 10th sees Scott challenge for the Commonwealth Title at Plymouth Pavilions in our back yard, which the fans of Scott have turned into a fortress, but all this would not be possible without the backing of people of Plymouth who are absolutely fantastic.
Scott often says to me “How do I repay
these people for their massive support?”, My reply to Scott…
“Is to keep wining God willing, your success will carry on and take you to the top of your division and it is also my opinion that Scott has all the attributes to conquer all and become World Champion”
