On 5th December 2001 Scott
fought the respected South African, Elvis Adonis for the IBO intercontinental
middleweight belt. This lasted 7 rounds with Scott emerging victorious. Scott
was presented with a belt that had be shipped from to London from Florida, then
hand-delivered to Plymouth. This was conducted in ceremony that took place on
Plymouth Hoe.
Scott lands his first Professional title.
